SCADA (System Control And Data Acquisition) is a telemetry and remote control system. SCADA is a software and hardware complex designed to provide real-time operation of systems for collecting, processing, displaying, and archiving information about the monitored or controlled object.
SCADA can be part of an automated process control system (APCS), automated system for commercial energy metering (ASCEM), monitoring system, or building automation system (Smart Home). Such complexes are used in many industries where remote operator control of technological processes in real time is required.
