(!) Warning: If you do not plan to use Arctic Air Ultra for a long period of time, it is recommended to empty the water tank and allow both the tank and filter to dry before storage. This helps prevent mold, unpleasant odors, and extends the lifespan of Arctic Air Ultra and its filter.
.Filter maintenance
We recommend weekly cleaning of your Arctic Air™ Ultra and its filter to maintain optimal performance, and replacing the filter every 3–6 months.
Dishwasher
Place the filter on the top rack of the dishwasher. Remove and allow to air dry.
Hand wash
Hand wash with warm soapy water. Shake off excess water and allow to air dry.
Microwave
Sanitize the filter by placing it in the microwave for 30 seconds with intervals up to 2 minutes. Let it cool completely before use.
.Maintenance
(!) Warning: If you notice mold on the filter or detect a musty odor, stop using the device and clean the filter before further operation.
Fully immerse the filter in a bowl filled with equal parts clean water and white vinegar for 45–60 minutes. Rinse with warm water, squeeze gently, and allow to air dry.
Unit cleaning
Before cleaning, run Arctic Air Ultra until the water has evaporated from the tank, or empty the container manually. To do this, hold the unit over a sink and carefully tilt to avoid splashing.
Remove the filter tray. Clean the tray and housing with warm soapy water, rinse with clean water, and allow the unit to air dry.
If the water tank becomes dirty, use a small flexible brush (such as a toothbrush or bottle brush) to scrub the interior until clean. Rinse with warm water.
