Safety Instructions
WARNING!
• Before operating the device, carefully read this manual and keep it in an accessible place for future reference.
• The device is not intended for heating rooms.
• The device is not a medical product.
• The device is intended for operation only from an AC mains supply. The power supply parameters must comply with those specified in the technical specifications of the device.
• The installation site must provide free and safe access to the device.
• Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel using special equipment, in accordance with the recommendations in this manual.
• The device may be operated only in rooms with an air temperature from +5 °C to +40 °C.
• The device must not be operated in rooms with relative humidity above 80% at a temperature of 20 °C.
• The air supplied to the device must not contain harmful chemicals, or any flammable, explosive, corrosive, or other components hazardous to the health of people, animals, or plants.
• Improper use of the device may create situations dangerous to life and health.
• In the event of a malfunction, disconnect the device from the power supply and contact the nearest service center.
• When replacing the filter or performing maintenance, switch off the device and disconnect the power cord from the mains socket.
• Do not insert foreign objects into the air intake and air outlet openings.
• Do not cover the air outlet opening with clothes or other objects.
• Do not allow moisture to enter the device.
• Do not touch the operating device with wet hands.
• Do not simultaneously touch the operating device and central heating radiators, pipelines, or other grounded metal structures.
• Do not spray flammable liquids near the device.
• Do not place heavy objects on the device.
• Before performing service or scheduled maintenance, disconnect the device from the power supply. To do this, switch the device's power button to the off position, wait until it has completely stopped operating, and then unplug it from the socket or, in the case of concealed wiring, disconnect the circuit breaker in the electrical distribution panel that powers the device.
• If any damage or signs of abnormal operation are detected, unplug the power cord or disconnect the concealed wiring switch, and contact an authorized service center for advice on the possibility of further operation.
• In case of condensation or icing, switch off the device. It is recommended to resume operation only after the temperature of the device has equalized with room temperature and signs of icing have disappeared.
• Operating the device with the filter in its protective polyethylene packaging may cause device failure and void warranty service.
• A new device may have a plastic odor, which will disappear after several hours of intensive operation.
• Compliance with installation conditions is necessary both for proper operation of the device and for obtaining warranty and free service. Ensure that the installation specialist enters all required installation information in the warranty card.
• The high-efficiency H13 filter must not be subjected to dry or wet cleaning.
• Ballu recommends installing the device at some distance from the bed, as being too close may result in audible operational noise (this is not a malfunction).
• In strong winds, noise levels may increase at the joints between the device and the air duct, and air may seep through the valve (this is not a malfunction).
• To avoid freezing of the heating element and the device itself, if the temperature drops below -40 °C (when an additional PTC ceramic heating element option is purchased and installed), it is recommended to switch off the device and close the wall opening with a plug (the plug is purchased separately and is not included with the device).
• At low external temperatures from +5 °C to -40 °C (when the additional PTC ceramic heating element option is purchased and installed), if people are present in the room where the device is installed, it is recommended not to switch off the device in order to maintain a comfortable temperature of incoming air. When switching off the device, to prevent heat loss, it is recommended to install a plug in the ventilation duct (purchased separately).
• Be sure to download and install the HOMMYN app, as firmware updates for the device are periodically released and can only be installed via the app.
• The design of the device provides for concealed connection.
• Installation must be carried out by an authorized organization; otherwise, in case of defects, the warranty may not be provided. A list of authorized installation teams can be found in the "Installation" section.
• If you operate the device at a temperature below -40 °C, it may not reach the set target temperature and may automatically shut off and close the valve after a certain time (this is not a malfunction).
CAUTION!
• Children are not aware of the hazards that may arise from the use of electrical appliances.
• The device must not be operated without a coarse filter installed.
• The device must not be operated without a grille installed on the outdoor side of the ventilation duct.
• Do not operate the device with a damaged cord or plug, or in the event of malfunction, dropping, or any other damage.
• Do not attempt to repair the device yourself; contact a qualified service center.
• Do not use the device with a twisted power cord, as this may lead to overheating of the cord and accidents.
• Use only the original replacement filter intended for this device. Replace the filter in a timely manner.
• Do not expose the device to prolonged direct sunlight.
• Use this device only for its intended purpose.
• The device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed on its use by a person responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to prevent playing with the device.
.Purpose of the Device
The device is designed to create and maintain indoor air quality optimal for human health. The device performs the following functions:
• Supplies fresh, oxygen-rich outdoor air into the room;
• Cleans the incoming air from most contaminants such as dust, pet hair, allergens, etc.;
• Provides heating of the incoming air (when a heating element is installed) if its temperature drops below +5 °C.

Preparation for Use
Remove the device from its packaging, inspect it, and ensure there are no mechanical damages. If damages are found, contact the seller’s service center. If the device was transported at low temperatures, leave it in a room with a temperature of +15…+25 °C for 1–2 hours to warm up to room temperature. Carefully read the manual.
.Placement Rules
Select a location for installation on the wall using the installation template supplied with the device. Ensure that the location allows easy access to the control panel. Verify that the installation site meets the following requirements:
• Heating radiators, furniture, and other obstacles do not interfere with the operation and maintenance of the device (minimum distances from these obstacles are specified below depending on the planned installation position);
• The wall is flat, allows tight contact with the device, has no slope greater than 2°, and allows drilling of the air duct channel;
• There are no utility elements (electrical wiring, heating pipes, etc.) at the locations of the technical openings;
• It is possible to connect the device to a 220 V power supply with a load capacity of at least 2 kW.
The device can be installed vertically with air outlet upwards, or horizontally with air outlet to the left or right.

.Installation
WARNING!
Installation must be carried out only by qualified specialists using professional equipment.
The installation process can be conditionally divided into 5 steps.
Step 1. Drilling a 132 mm hole in the wall
• Using a level, position the installation template on the wall in the correct position according to your chosen installation orientation (see "Placement Rules"), as shown in Fig. 3, and mark the center of the air duct channel and the mounting holes. Remove the template.

• Install the diamond drilling machine base plate on the wall, using the template as a spacer to avoid damaging the wall surface. The center of the core bit must align with the center of the air duct channel.
• Adjust the core bit angle so that the hole slopes 3–4° downward toward the outside (Fig. 4) to prevent precipitation from entering the room.

• Install a dust collection ring on the wall and connect an industrial vacuum cleaner.
• When drilling concrete, supply water to the diamond drilling machine. For foam blocks and bricks, drilling without water is allowed.
• Drill a through hole with a diameter of 132 mm. If the wall thickness exceeds 450 mm, use a core bit extension.
• Remove the base plate and seal the hole left by the anchor bolt.
• Clean the air duct channel from any concrete/brick debris, insulation, and dust.
Step 2. Drilling mounting holes in the wall
• Depending on the wall material, drill 3 holes with a diameter of 5 mm at the previously marked locations using a hammer drill or an electric drill. The hole depth must match the length of the supplied dowels.
Step 3. Thermal and sound insulation of the channel
• Measure the depth of the channel. Cut a polyethylene foam pipe (recommended: inner diameter 89 mm, wall thickness 20 mm) to a length equal to the channel depth + 50 mm.
• Attach the outdoor grille to the outer side of the insulation pipe using odorless frost-resistant adhesive.
• Insert the insulated pipe with the grille into the air duct channel with a twisting motion, ensuring that the grille is flush with the external wall surface.
• Cut the protruding inner end of the pipe so that it remains 2–3 mm inside the wall surface.
• Seal the joint between the pipe and the channel around the circumference with odorless frost-resistant adhesive or silicone sealant.
Step 4. Attaching the device to the wall
• Insert dowels into the mounting holes in the wall.
• Secure the device to the wall with 3 screws using the holes indicated in Fig. 5.
• Tighten the screws gradually until the device fits snugly against the wall. Do not overtighten to avoid damage.
• Close the device.

Step 5. Electrical connection
• Connect the device to the power supply by inserting the power plug into a mains socket with matching parameters.
• Touch button 1 on the control panel. The device will turn on at the first speed.
• Check the device operation and ensure there are no abnormal noises by sequentially switching from the first to the third speed.
• Fill in the warranty card.
• The installation is complete.
.Commissioning and Initial Setup of the Device
• Connect the PTC heating element (optional, depending on configuration).
• Connect the COx sensor (optional, depending on configuration).
• Perform the Self-Diagnostic procedure.
• Download the HOMMYN application (QR code for downloading is provided).
• Connect the device to Wi-Fi.
• Update the device firmware.
Controlling the Device via Mobile Application
Download and install the HOMMYN application on your smartphone or other mobile device (free in the App Store and Play Market).
The device allows updating of the built-in software (firmware) to improve performance, optimize operating algorithms, and add new functions.
You can check the software version or update it via the HOMMYN mobile application.
WARNING!
If any malfunction of the device is detected, update the built-in software (firmware).
Initial Connection Setup
1. In the application, on the main page, press the “Add Device” button.
2. On the “Add Device” page, press the “Show All Devices” button.
3. Select the required device.
4. Press “Continue.”
5. A page with connection instructions will open.
For Android
Press the “Open Wi-Fi Settings” button. In the Wi-Fi settings, select the ONEAIR ASP-100 network. Use your phone’s “Back” button to return to the application.
For iOS
The application will prompt you to connect to the ONEAIR ASP-100 network. Press “Connect.”
WARNING!
This step may vary depending on the version of the operating system.
6. A device search screen will appear, and the connection process will begin.
7. Once the mobile device connects to the unit, a pairing instruction screen will appear.
8. On the unit, enable pairing mode by holding buttons 2 and 3 on the control panel for 3 seconds. The segment of button 3 should flash green rapidly. In the application, press “Continue.”
9. The configuration screen will appear in the application, showing a list of Wi-Fi networks detected by the mobile device. Select the desired network and enter the password. Press “Connect.”
10. After configuration is complete, the message “Device successfully connected” will appear. When successfully connected to the router, the segment of button 3 lights green for 5 seconds.
If the mobile device does not automatically return to the home network, a message will appear at the bottom of the screen instructing you to manually switch to your network. Press “Continue.”
11. The device settings screen will open: device name, location, room. You can enter custom names or press “Done” in the upper right corner.
12. You will then be taken to the device control page.
Connecting to a Previously Configured Device
WARNING!
The mobile device must be on the same Wi-Fi network to which the device is configured.
1. In the application, on the main page, press the “Add Device” button.
2. On the “Add Device” page, in the “Nearby Devices” section, the device should appear.
3. Select the device, and a pairing instruction page will open.
4. On the unit, enable pairing mode by holding buttons 2 and 3 on the control panel for 3 seconds. The segment of button 3 should flash green rapidly. In the application, press “Continue.”
5. After configuration is complete, the message “Device successfully configured” will appear.
6. The device settings screen will open: device name, location, room. You can enter custom names or press “Done” in the upper right corner.
7. You will then be taken to the device control page.
IMPORTANT!
If the device was previously configured for another Wi-Fi network, you must reset the settings before a new connection. To do this, press and hold buttons 2 and 3 for 15 seconds.
The device has been successfully connected!
Firmware Update
Always ensure that the latest firmware version is installed.
To check or update the firmware, go to the device page and tap the settings icon (gear icon in the upper right corner).
A menu will open where you can check the currently installed firmware version. If a firmware update is required, an exclamation mark will be displayed.
.Operation of the Device
Operation of the Device
Table 1 provides a description of the control panel buttons and their functions.

The device turns on at the last used speed/mode.
• The segments corresponding to the functions that were active before shutdown are lit.
Press and hold for 3 seconds Turn off the device.
The device turns off.
Short press (when the device is on) Change speeds.
Speed changes occur sequentially and allow immediate entry into manual mode, in which the device maintains user-set parameters.
• Speed 1 – one segment lit, turquoise;
• Speed 2 – two segments lit, turquoise;
• Speed 3 – three segments lit, turquoise;
• Speed 4 – one segment lit, blue;
• Speed 5 – two segments lit, blue;
• Speed 6 – three segments lit, blue;
• Speed 7 – three segments lit, violet.
Short press Enable/disable heating.
The function works only if the PTC heating element (optional) is installed and the Self-Diagnostic procedure has been performed.
Allows setting the heating temperature of incoming outdoor air:
• One press – set temperature to +20 °C, one segment lit in yellow;
• Two presses – set temperature to +25 °C, two segments lit in yellow;
• Three presses – heating off, no segments lit. If the incoming air temperature is below +5 °C, heating automatically turns on to +5 °C, two segments lit in blue.
The set temperature is maintained automatically in manual, auto, and night modes.
In Turbo mode, the set temperature is automatically lowered to +5 °C for maximum performance, and after Turbo mode ends, it returns to the previously set value.
By default, the heating temperature is set to +20 °C. The HOMMYN mobile application allows setting the heating temperature of incoming outdoor air from +5 °C to +25 °C in 1-degree increments.

Short press Auto Mode.
The function works only if the COx sensor Z19 (optional) is installed and the Self-Diagnostic procedure has been performed.
Performs the following functions:
1. With the COx sensor Z19 and PTC heating element installed (full auto mode).
The device opens/closes the air outlet valve damper, controls fan speed from 1 to 7 depending on COx concentration in the room (according to Table 4), and maintains the user-set heating temperature of incoming outdoor air.
2. Without the PTC heating element installed (simplified auto mode).
The damper and fan speed are controlled according to COx levels when the outdoor air temperature is +5 °C or higher. If the outdoor air temperature is below +5 °C, the device switches off. The user must restart it.
• Each segment lights up in sequence in reverse order from button 3. Color – yellow.

Press and hold for 3 seconds Turbo Mode.
Allows immediate transition to high-performance mode, where the device operates at maximum speed for 15 minutes, after which it returns to the previous operating mode. Turbo mode can be reactivated only after 10 minutes. If Turbo mode runs for less than 5 minutes and is stopped (another mode selected), it can be restarted without delay by pressing this combination again.
• The three speed segments cycle through all colors.

Press and hold for 10 seconds ECO Ventilation.
ECO mode (passive ventilation) makes operation as economical as possible – the fan motor and heating element remain inactive.
In this mode, the ONEAIR operates in micro-ventilation without running the motor or consuming electricity.
The function works when the incoming outdoor air temperature is +5 °C or higher. If the outdoor air temperature is below +5 °C, the air outlet damper closes. The user must restart the device.
• Each segment lights up in sequence toward the night mode button. Color – light blue.
Short press Night Mode.
Performs the following functions:
1. Disables all sounds and indicators. The night mode indicator dims after 30 seconds. The backlight turns on when any button is pressed; to change settings, press a button again when the backlight is on.
2. With the COx sensor Z19 and PTC heating element installed – the device opens/closes the air outlet damper, controls fan speed from 1 to 3 depending on COx levels (according to Table 4), and maintains the set heating temperature.
3. Without the PTC heating element – damper control and fan speed adjustment based on COx levels occur only when the outdoor air temperature is +5 °C or higher. If the temperature is below +5 °C, the device switches off. The user must restart it.
4. Without the COx sensor Z19 – the device turns on at the first speed. Through the HOMMYN mobile application, the user can set the night mode speed from 1 to 3.
• Night mode indicator is lit in blue.

Enables remote control via the HOMMYN mobile application.
• The segment of button 3 flashes green. When successfully connected to the router, it lights green for 5 seconds.

Press and hold for 15 seconds Reset Settings.
Resets all device settings to factory defaults.
• All segments flash red 5 times for 0.5 seconds each.

In standby mode, press and hold for 5 seconds Self-Diagnostics.
Starts the self-diagnostic mode, during which the device automatically checks the operation of its main components and detects installed optional accessories. The self-diagnostic process can take up to 10 minutes. All segments flash yellow simultaneously.
Press and hold for 3 seconds Enable sound playback.
Enables playback of built-in nature sounds and allows switching between them. To change the sound, press and hold button 3 for 3 seconds again.
Press and hold for 3 seconds Disable sound playback.
Disables playback of built-in nature sounds.
In standby mode, press and hold for 10 seconds Reset pre-filter timer.
The filter service indicator on button 3 stops flashing red.
In standby mode, press and hold for 15 seconds Reset main filter timer.
The filter service indicator on button 3 stops flashing red.
.Troubleshooting
If malfunctions occur, refer to the troubleshooting methods listed in Table 2.
If the problem cannot be resolved using the suggested methods, contact the service center.

Error Codes and Indicators
E1 – COx level exceeds 3500 ppm and does not decrease within 3 minutes.
E2 – Device overheating (temperature above 50 °C).
E3 – Airflow temperature sensor error.
E4 – Motor error.
E5 – Air outlet valve damper error.
C1 – Notification of no connection to the router, the device continues to operate. Indicator – segment of button 3 flashes white rapidly every 30 seconds.
Error indication E1 – E5: depending on the error number, the corresponding segment of buttons 1–3 (from first to fifth segment) flashes red rapidly.
Filter maintenance indication – segment of button 3:
• Pre-filter cleaning – flashing red.
• Main filter replacement – flashing red rapidly.
Service Maintenance
Coarse Filter (High-Density Pre-filter) Maintenance Procedure
1. Turn off the device.
2. Open the front cover of the device.

3. Press your fingers against the special protrusions on the coarse filter and turn it counterclockwise.

4. Carefully remove the coarse filter.
5. Clean the coarse filter with a soft brush, rinse in warm water. Do not use chemical cleaning agents.

6. Thoroughly dry the pre-filter.
WARNING!
Do not install a wet pre-filter in the device.
7. Install the pre-filter into the device and turn it clockwise until it stops.
8. Close the front cover of the device until it clicks and turn on the device.
.Main Filter Replacement Procedure
1. Ensure the device is disconnected from the mains power supply.
2. Open the front cover of the device.
3. Carefully remove the filter from the heat-resistant insulation element.

4. Replace the filter with a new one, removing all packaging beforehand.
5. Close the front cover of the device until it clicks and turn on the device.
WARNING!
Before installing the filter, make sure all packaging materials (protective polyethylene film) are removed from the filters.
WARNING!
Use only original replacement filters.
WARNING!
The counter counts down from the set value only while the device is operating. The factory setting for the main filter replacement timer is 180 days.

Replacement / Installation of the Ceramic Heating Element
WARNING!
The heating element must be installed by a qualified technician.
1. Ensure the device is disconnected from the mains power supply.
2. Open the front cover of the device (Fig. 10).

3. Remove the filter from the device.
4. Unscrew the four screws securing the power board protective cover (Fig. 11).

5. Carefully remove the heat-resistant insulation element (Fig. 12).

6. Install the heating element in its designated position. Tighten the four mounting bolts. Ensure the heating element is securely fixed.

7. Connect the heating element to the female connector in the device. Ensure the male-female connection is securely fixed until it clicks (Fig. 14).

8. Reinstall the heat-resistant insulation element.
9. Reinstall the protective cover of the power board. Tighten the four mounting bolts. Reinstall the filter. Close the device.
10. Run the Self-Diagnostic mode as described in Table 1 of the “Operation of the Device” section.
Installation of the CO2-Z19 Carbon Dioxide Sensor
1. Ensure the device is disconnected from the mains power supply.
2. Remove the CO2 sensor compartment cover (Fig. 15).

3. Insert the CO2-Z19 sensor into the mounting slot in the compartment cover and secure it with two bolts (Fig. 16).

4. Connect the CO2-Z19 sensor to the ribbon cable.
5. Reinstall the CO2 sensor compartment cover until it clicks.
WARNING!
After installing the CO2-Z19 carbon dioxide sensor, it is necessary to run the Self-Diagnostic mode.
Transportation and Storage
It is recommended to store the device in its original packaging at temperatures from -20 °C to +30 °C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%. Transportation and storage of the device must comply with the handling symbols on the packaging.
Warranty
The warranty period is 2 years. Warranty service is carried out in accordance with the warranty terms specified in the warranty card.
Service Life
The service life of the device is 5 years.
Disposal
At the end of its service life, the device must be disposed of in accordance with the rules and regulations in force at the place of disposal. Dispose of the device at an authorized collection point, if required by your local regulations. This helps avoid potential harm to the environment and human health, and supports recycling of the product’s components. For information on where and how to dispose of the device, contact your local authorities.

The product is certified in the territory of the Customs Union.
