The KT-E08 is a universal air conditioner remote control with 6000 codes, compatible with both domestic and international brands; old and new versions, etc. It can be used for 98% of air conditioners worldwide. The remote also includes a clock, TIMER function in air conditioners, indoor temperature display, and more. It is the best choice for replacing the original remote control.
Installing Batteries in the QUNDA KT E08 Remote Control
1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert 2 AAA batteries (UM-4, R03) according to the polarity indicated in the battery compartment. Choose one of the configuration methods below.
3. Close the cover.
NOTES
• Use only lithium (LITHIUM) batteries. Do not use rechargeable nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries.
• Do NOT recharge, short-circuit, disassemble, heat, or expose the batteries to open flames.
• Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for an extended period. Otherwise, electrolyte leakage may occur, causing damage to the remote and possibly fire. If electrolyte leakage occurs, carefully wipe it off the remote and replace the batteries with new ones. Avoid contact of the electrolyte with bare skin. If electrolyte comes into contact with skin, immediately wash it with plenty of clean running water.
Configuration
Code Entry
1. Find the codes in the code table, which contains multiple groups for each brand. Try the first group. If it does not work, try the second, and so on, until you can control the device. For example: for AUCMA brand, you may select 0288. If this code does not work, try 0289.
2. Press the “SELECT” button, and the code will appear on the display. Enter the 4-digit code one by one. Code entry is complete, configuration finished.
3. Point the remote at the air conditioner and press the “ONE KEY” button. Check if the remote works. If it works, configuration was successful. If not, try another code group until the remote starts working.
Automatic Search
If you do not know the air conditioner brand, or if the brand is not listed in the code table, follow these steps:
1. Point the remote at the air conditioner, press and hold the “SELECT” button for 5 seconds, then release it. You will enter automatic search mode. The remote will emit a continuous signal, and the displayed code will gradually increase. When the air conditioner responds, press any button to confirm.
2. Point the remote at the air conditioner again and press the “ONE KEY” button. If the remote works, configuration was successful. If not, repeat the steps until the remote starts working.
Using the “ONE KEY” Button
Regardless of the season, if you need to turn on the air conditioner, simply point the remote control at the air conditioner and press the “ONE KEY” button. The remote determines the season based on the current temperature. In summer, the temperature will be set to 26°C. In winter, the temperature will be set to 20°C. If this temperature does not suit you, use the “TEMP +” or “TEMP -” buttons to adjust it. The remote also supports functions of other brands’ remotes, which can be used exactly like the original.

Attention
1. If you will not use the remote control for a long period, remove the batteries to avoid electrolyte leakage, which can damage the device. If the display looks dim, replace the batteries. (Do not use old and new batteries together). When replacing the batteries, it is not necessary to reconfigure the code.
2. Generally, the display shows the time only when pressing the model code “ENTER” button. While selecting a code, it appears on the display, and after 5 seconds, the time is shown again.
3. If the ON/OFF time does not work, check that there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner. The function will only work if the air conditioner receives the ON/OFF time signal from the remote control.
