The WAXIBA XB-531C radio receiver with FM / MP3 / flashlight / clock is designed to receive broadcast stations in the VHF FM band.

Short description of WAXIBA XB-531C radio receiver:

The radio is designed in a classic style. Thanks to a large telescopic antenna and smooth frequency tuning, it provides good reception quality and excellent sound. There is a USB port and SD card slot for playing favorite mp3 recordings. Also includes a clock with alarm.

Operating instructions

Install two R20(D) batteries in the compartment or use the included removable rechargeable 18650 battery.

Switch on by turning the VOLUME knob clockwise. Adjust the volume. Switch off by turning it back until the click.

Toggle the switch to select MP-3, FM, AM, SW mode.

FM/AM/SW radio: tune stations using the TUNING knob.

Insert a flash drive or memory card into the USB or TF slot. Switch to MP3 mode to start playback.

Select track using << PREV (previous), >> NEXT (next). Press PLAY/PAUSE to start/stop playback. Press REPEAT to loop the current track. Press REPEAT again to disable repeat.

FM ANTENNA: extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.

ON/OFF switch controls the flashlight.

Charging the device

Connect the power cable to the DC 5V input and plug the other end into a 5V adapter (not included).

Alternatively, use a DC 4V adapter for the DC 4V input (not included).

(i) Important:
For the first charge, charge the device for at least 12 hours.
Subsequent charges should not exceed 8 hours.

Possible issues and solutions

1. Device does not power on

- Connect to mains and charge the built-in battery (if present), or replace batteries (not included);

- Ensure a microSD/USB card is inserted;

- Ensure the card is not damaged. If necessary, format and rewrite files;

- Power cycle the device.

2. No sound

- Ensure volume is not at minimum;

- Check headphone plug connection;

- Ensure a microSD/USB card is inserted;

- Ensure the card is not damaged. If necessary, format and rewrite files.
