Precautions

To ensure correct and safe use of the irrigator, and to avoid injury or property damage, please read the instructions carefully and follow the warnings before use.

For users with oral diseases or who have undergone oral surgery within the past six months, please consult your dentist.

Contraindications:

Use the irrigator exclusively for oral cleaning. A water jet directed into the eyes, nose, ears, or throat may cause serious injury. Do not use this product for purposes other than oral cleaning.

During use, do not press the irrigator nozzle too hard against the teeth or gums, as this may cause damage. Do not operate the device without a nozzle.

Disconnect the power adapter and charging cable before use, cleaning, or maintenance. Do not connect or disconnect the power adapter and charging cable with wet hands, otherwise this may result in electric shock. Before charging, make sure the charging port and cable are dry, otherwise short-circuiting may occur.

Do not fill the water tank with water above 40 °C.

This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or by persons lacking experience and knowledge. It may only be used by such persons under the supervision of someone responsible for their safety and who has provided clear instructions.

This device must not be used by children or persons with limited abilities if it is unsafe. If you do not understand the operating procedures and safety instructions, do not use the product: incorrect use can result in injury.

Please keep this product out of the reach of children and do not use it as a toy. Do not store it at high temperatures or in humid places, and avoid direct sunlight.

Do not disassemble or modify this product, as this may cause fire or injury. Do not damage, modify, strongly bend, pull, or twist the charging cable. For repairs, please contact after-sales service.

This product has a built-in rechargeable battery; do not put it in fire, heat it, or use or store it at high temperature, otherwise overheating or fire may occur.

If you do not use the Xiaomi Mijia MEO701 irrigator for a long period, please disconnect the power adapter and charging cable; otherwise, this may result in electric shock or fire. If the device is not used for a long time, it must be stored fully charged and recharged every 6 months thereafter.

After use, always pour out the remaining water, then run the device idle. The product will expel residual water in a few seconds. This is necessary to avoid bacterial growth, unpleasant odor, and subsequent malfunctions.

Usage

Cleaning is performed by a water jet delivered into the oral cavity under pressure, gently washing away all debris from interdental spaces. This method is minimally traumatic for the oral cavity while providing maximum effectiveness.

During first use, even healthy gums may develop small injuries or bleeding, as gums are not accustomed to this type of stimulation. This situation usually resolves within 1–2 weeks.

Switching the irrigator on and off

Press the power button briefly to switch the irrigator on or off.

The device has a 2-minute standby function. If you use it for 2 minutes, it will automatically switch off; if you need to continue, simply press the power button again to restart.

Use the standard mode to empty the full water tank within approximately 1 minute. Duration varies depending on the selected mode.

(!) Tip: To prevent bacterial growth, switch the device on and off after each use. Remove residual water from the mechanism, water tank, and nozzle.

Mode switching

Press the mode button briefly to cycle through the cleaning modes.

The device has a memory function, so when switched on it will start in the last mode used.

Operating modes:

    - Powerful mode: strong water pressure, deep cleaning between teeth
    - Standard mode: moderate water pressure, effective cleaning, suitable for daily use
    - Sensitive mode: gentle water pressure, suitable for sensitive teeth or initial use
    - Pulsating mode (1400 pulses per minute): pulsed water pressure, suitable for massaging teeth and gums

The adjustable water pressure ensures comfortable use even with sensitive enamel and gum problems.

Short press the mode button to cycle: powerful – standard – sensitive – pulsating.

For beginners, it is recommended to use the sensitive mode for one week, then switch to other modes after adaptation.

If discomfort persists for more than 2 weeks, discontinue use and consult your dentist.

The cordless irrigator operates on a built-in rechargeable battery and charges via USB cable (included). One full charge lasts for 3–4 hours of continuous operation.

The water tank capacity is 200 ml. The tank is removable for separate cleaning. You can add special solutions or rinses to the water to address specific problems such as enamel sensitivity, bad breath, inflammation, or periodontal disease.

The waterproof housing allows use even in the shower. The rotating nozzle mechanism ensures access to hard-to-reach areas. Ergonomic design, compact size, and simple controls distinguish this model from others.

Battery Charging

Please charge the device before first use.

Ensure the device and your hands are dry, then connect the Type-C charging cable. Plug the power adapter (sold separately) into the charging port and turn on the power supply.

(!) Tip: Please charge at room temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C. Charging at lower temperatures (below 15 °C) may reduce operating time; at very low temperatures (below 5 °C), charging may not be possible.

Connect the device to a USB port with at least 1 A output using the supplied cable.

Full charging time is approximately 4 hours. You can monitor the charging process using the LED indicator located near the power button.

Battery charge indicator status:

During operation:

- Solid green light – 100%–30% charge
- Solid red light – 30%–10% charge
- Rapid flashing red (or no light) – <10% charge

During charging:

- Solid green – 100% charged
- Flashing green – 100%–30% charged
- Flashing red – <30% charged

(!) Reminder: The Type-C charging cable supplied with this device is an accessory designed specifically for this product and is not compatible with other devices.

Refilling the Water Tank

Method 1: Open the water tank lid, hold the irrigator horizontally, and connect it to the water tank. Pour in the required amount of water, then close the tank with the lid.

Method 2: Hold the irrigator body in one hand and the water tank in the other, rotate and remove the tank, fill with the appropriate amount of water, then reinsert the tank.

(!) It is recommended to use warm water at 40 °C or running tap water.

Do not add chemicals such as toothpaste, salt, or solid oral tablets. This may clog or damage the device.

(!) Warning! Do not operate the irrigator without water — this may damage the pump.

After use, switch off the irrigator, remove the water tank, and pour the remaining water into the sink. Reinstall the tank and leave the lid open until it is completely dry.

General Recommendations for Using the Xiaomi Mijia Electric Flusher MEO-701

• Brush your teeth before using the irrigator.

• Lean over the sink — when using the irrigator, water should flow freely from your mouth.

• Start with minimum pressure and gradually increase it.

• Use a gentler mode for gum massage and a stronger one for plaque removal.

• Move from the front teeth to the molars. First clean the front and back surfaces of the teeth, then the interdental spaces and the gum line.

• Hold the irrigator so that the water jet meets the cleaned surface at a right angle.

• After use, rinse your mouth thoroughly to remove flushed debris.

Beginner’s Guide

• Hold the device vertically, insert the nozzle into the mouth, and direct the jet at the interdental spaces. Keep your mouth slightly open to allow water to flow out smoothly.

• Clean teeth sequentially, moving slowly along them.

• Hold the nozzle perpendicular to the teeth and gums.

• Do not spray water directly into periodontal pockets.

Purpose of Different Nozzles

The set includes 4 interchangeable nozzles:

• Standard nozzle: Effectively removes food debris, tartar, and bacteria between teeth and pits. Prevents tartar buildup. Suitable for daily cleaning, penetrates deep into gaps, and removes food and dirt.

• Tongue cleaning nozzle: Helps maintain fresh breath by effectively removing coating and preventing bacteria from entering the body.

• Orthodontic nozzle: Designed for use with braces, retainers, and other orthodontic appliances. Effective for hard-to-reach areas.

• Periodontal pocket nozzle: Can penetrate up to 6 mm into gum pockets to combat irritation and gum disease, effectively removing bacteria, massaging teeth and gums, and preventing gum recession and atrophy.

Installing and Removing the Nozzle

Insert the nozzle into the mounting hole until you hear a click.

Press and hold the nozzle release button while simultaneously pulling the nozzle upward to remove it.

(!) Note: During use, do not press the nozzle release button to avoid nozzle ejection and accidental injury.

Care and Maintenance

Maintain hygienic cleanliness of the device. Do not pour any liquids into the water tank other than drinking water.

After use, always empty the remaining water from the tank and run the device for 2–3 seconds to completely dry it.

Failure to comply with sanitary and hygienic use may result in mold and bacteria growth, which can harm health.

Daily Cleaning

• Open the water tank lid and pour out any remaining water from the tank.
• Press the mode switch briefly to drain the irrigator, internal mechanism, and tank automatically.
• Press the mode switch again to turn off the irrigator, then close the tank lid.
• Remove the nozzle and place it in the nozzle storage case.

• Wipe the tank with a cloth.
• To clean the nozzle and water tank, remove and rinse them with water. They can be brushed and then wiped with a clean cloth.
• When cleaning the surface of the device, wipe with a damp cloth, water, or neutral detergent. Do not use aggressive liquids, solvents, or alcohol, especially above 40 °C.
• If not used for a long time, clean the device and store it after drying.

Pump Cleaning

• Clean and maintain the water pump every 1–3 months to ensure the best performance.
• Fill the tank with warm water not exceeding 40 °C, then add one tablespoon of regular vinegar. Switch on and operate until the tank is empty, then refill with clean water and run again to rinse the irrigator.
• It is recommended to replace the nozzles every 6 months.
