Thank you for choosing the Mi Smart Air Fryer (3.5 L). This appliance is intended for household use only.

.Safety Instructions
• Children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, may use this appliance under supervision or after receiving safety instructions and understanding the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children, except when they are older than 8 years and under adult supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years.
• For household use only.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service agent to avoid hazards.
• During operation, accessible surfaces of the appliance may become hot.
• Surfaces may heat up during use.
• These appliances must not be operated with an external timer or separate remote control system.
• Do not block the air inlets, outlets, or ventilation openings during operation to prevent obstruction of normal heat dissipation.
• Do not modify the internal wiring of the air fryer.
• Do not use charcoal or other similar fuel sources to heat the basket, frying pan, or grill.
• Do not place the basket on other heat sources such as an induction hob or gas stove.
• Do not plug in or unplug the power cord with wet hands to avoid electric shock.
• Do not use a loose or poorly connected power cord.
• Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with sharp objects to prevent damage.
• Do not use the air fryer for storing any items, especially flammable, explosive, or corrosive substances.
• Do not pull excessively, twist, or bend the power cord, as this may result in exposure or damage to its wiring.
• Immediately stop using the air fryer and disconnect it from the power supply if it is not functioning properly or malfunctions.
• Do not operate the air fryer without the basket installed.
• Do not allow children to approach the air fryer during or immediately after use to avoid burns.
• Do not allow children to play with the plastic packaging bag to prevent suffocation accidents.
• Do not use plastic utensils or paper packaging materials, which may melt or contaminate the food, for wrapping during cooking.
• Do not drop or strike the air fryer against hard objects to prevent damage or malfunction.
• Do not insert pins, wires, or other objects into the openings of the air fryer to avoid electric shock or injury.
• Do not use any accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
• During use, maintain a distance of at least 30 cm between the exhaust outlets and other devices.
• Do not move or shake the air fryer during operation.
• To avoid hazards, do not insert foreign objects into the safety switch.
• When placing the air fryer inside a kitchen cabinet, ensure the area is well ventilated.
• Before cleaning or servicing, make sure the air fryer is disconnected from the power supply.
• Use the appliance only on a flat, heat-resistant surface to prevent product damage or accidents.
• Ensure that the silicone components of the air fryer do not come into contact with ethanol or solutions containing more than 50% alcohol.
• Make sure the power outlet used for the air fryer is properly grounded to avoid electric shock or other safety risks.

Notes:
1. The silicone rubber used in the air fryer is made of heat-resistant, food-grade materials to prevent scratching of the basket coating by the edges of the frying pan and to improve the stability of the pan. Do not remove the silicone rubber from the frying pan.
2. Ingredients that are too small are not suitable for grilling. Ensure that ingredients do not fall into the grill openings.
Control Knob
Press to confirm selection.
Press and hold for 0.5 seconds to return to the previous menu.
Rotate left/right to change functions.
Press the power button to turn on/off.
.Instructions
Connect the power cord and press the power button to turn on the air fryer.

Note:
1. At the first startup, press the power button to enter the language selection screen. Rotate the control knob to select the desired language, then press the knob to confirm.
2. During first use, the air fryer may emit a slight odor. To remove the odor, it is recommended to run the air fryer with an empty basket for five minutes at the maximum temperature (220 °C). During this process, a small amount of white smoke or odor may be emitted. This is normal.
1. Power On
• Connect the power cord and press the power button
to turn on the air fryer.
2. Power Off
• Press the power button to turn off the air fryer, regardless of its current state.
3. Wi-Fi Setup
1. Reset Wi-Fi settings:
Press the control knob to enter “Reset Wi-Fi” while on the “Wi-Fi” screen, then press the control knob to select Yes to reset Wi-Fi, or rotate the control knob to select No to cancel.
2. Enable/Disable Wi-Fi:
Press the control knob to enter the “Enable/Disable Wi-Fi” menu while on the “Wi-Fi” screen, then press the control knob to select Yes to enable or disable Wi-Fi, or rotate the control knob to select No to cancel.
Wi-Fi Status Indicator
Waiting for connection: Wi-Fi indicator blinks slowly
Reconnecting after disconnection: Wi-Fi indicator blinks rapidly
Successfully connected: Wi-Fi indicator stays on
Updating: Wi-Fi indicator blinks twice
(!) Note: If the appliance does not connect to Wi-Fi within 30 minutes, the Wi-Fi indicator will turn off.
4. Connecting to Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
The product is compatible with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home*. Control your device using this app.
Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be redirected to the connection setup page if the app is already installed. Alternatively, search for “Mi Home/Xiaomi Home” in the App Store to download and install the app.
Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, press “+” in the upper right corner, and follow the instructions to add the device.
(!) Note: To enhance user experience, the device firmware and Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app interface are updated from time to time. Therefore, if you encounter an interface that differs from this manual, please refer to the actual device.
.Cooking Instructions
Ingredients may be marinated to taste before cooking.
Starting a Cooking Program
1. Place the air fryer on a stable, flat surface and ensure proper air circulation around it.
2. Place the frying pan into the basket and add the ingredients one by one. If there are more ingredients, place them on the grill in two layers.
(!) Note: Placing ingredients without using the grill will affect the cooking process.
3. When the basket is fully inserted into the air fryer, press the power button to turn it on, rotate the control knob to select the desired cooking program in the menu, and press the control knob to confirm. Then press the control knob to select the quantity of ingredients (half / full pot or one / two layers), and finally press the control knob to confirm and start cooking.

Notes:
1. Cooking time and temperature can be adjusted by rotating the control knob during cooking.
2. After rotating the control knob to adjust cooking time or temperature, you must press the control knob to confirm. Otherwise, the appliance will continue cooking at the original time and temperature after five seconds.
4. Some ingredients must be flipped during cooking. Follow the fryer’s instructions to remove the basket, flip the ingredients, then fully reinsert the basket into the air fryer and press the control knob to continue cooking.
5. The air fryer will emit a sound signal and display the message “Cooking complete” to indicate that the cooking program has finished. Carefully remove the basket and use tongs to take out the food.
(!) Warning: After cooking, the basket will be extremely hot. Do not touch it to avoid burns.
.Other Functions
1. Language Settings
Turn on the air fryer, go to settings, and press the control knob to enter the language selection screen.
Rotate the control knob to the desired language and press it to confirm.
2. Manual Mode
In standby mode, rotate the control knob and select manual mode. Press it to set the temperature, rotate it to adjust the desired cooking temperature, then press it again to set the cooking time, rotate to select the desired time, and press to start the selected program.
3. Remove the Basket and Flip the Food
If the cooking time exceeds 8 minutes (except for pie and dried fruits), the air fryer will remind you when it is time to flip or shake the food. The display will flash the message “Please shake the food,” and a triple beep will sound. Remove the basket, flip or shake the food, then fully reinsert the basket into the air fryer.
4. Scheduled Cooking
In standby mode, rotate the control knob and select the program for setting the completion time, cooking temperature, and duration. Press the control knob to confirm and start the scheduled cooking program.
When the set time expires, the air fryer completes the scheduled cooking program.
(!) Note: The scheduled time refers to the completion time. For example, setting six hours means the cooking will be completed in six hours. The scheduled time cannot be shorter than the cooking duration.
5. Pause
Press the control knob to pause the cooking program while cooking is in progress.
Press the control knob again to resume the cooking program after the pause.
6. Stop Execution
Press and hold the control knob for 0.5 seconds. The display will prompt confirmation of cancellation of the current cooking program. Rotate the control knob to select “Yes” or “No.” After cancellation, the appliance will return to standby mode.
Maintenance Tips
Only professionally trained and qualified personnel should repair the air fryer. Others should not attempt repairs without authorization to avoid serious consequences.
If the air fryer malfunctions, refer to the “Troubleshooting” section before contacting customer support.
If the problem cannot be resolved, disconnect the power cord and contact authorized service support.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning or servicing, unplug the air fryer and wait until it cools to room temperature or reaches a safe temperature before operation. Please remove the basket when performing internal cleaning.
1. Air Fryer Surface:
The surface of the air fryer can be wiped with a dry soft cloth or a sponge moistened with neutral detergent.
2. Inner Cavity:
To remove stains from the inner cavity, apply a suitable amount of detergent diluted in hot water to the surface, leave for approximately 10 minutes, then use a water-moistened soft sponge to remove the detergent residue.
3. Basket:
Clean the air fryer after each use. The basket is coated, so do not use steel wool or other abrasive materials, as they may damage the surface.
4. Frying Pan / Grill:
You may use a soft cotton cloth or sponge moistened with neutral detergent to wipe them, then rinse with water to remove any detergent residue.
(!) Note: The basket, frying pan, and grill can be detached and placed in a dishwasher for cleaning, but the air fryer itself must not be washed in water or in a dishwasher.
Precautions During Cleaning
1. After use, promptly unplug the air fryer and do not place it near fire sources or immerse it in water. Do not place the power plug directly on the air fryer to avoid scratching the surface of the plug.
2. Cleaning and maintenance should be performed only after the air fryer has cooled down.
3. Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
(!) Note: Regular cleaning and maintenance of the air fryer will help extend its service life.
.Troubleshooting
The air fryer does not operate.
• The air fryer is not connected to a power source.
Insert the power plug into a grounded electrical outlet.
• The basket is not properly installed.
Remove the basket and reinstall it correctly.
OLED display shows E1.
• The sensor circuit is open.
Contact authorized service support.
OLED display shows E2.
• The sensor circuit is shorted.
Contact authorized service support.
The fan does not rotate.
• The fan blade is stuck.
Contact authorized service support.
• The motor is damaged, or other components have an open circuit.
Contact authorized service support.
White smoke is emitted.
• Cooking greasy ingredients.
When frying ingredients with a high fat content, a significant amount of smoke may appear. This is normal.
• Residual oil from a previous cooking program remains in the air fryer.
Always clean the air fryer after each cooking session.
The basket cannot be smoothly inserted into the air fryer.
• Too many ingredients in the basket.
The amount of ingredients must not exceed the maximum limit.
• The basket is improperly installed.
Install the basket correctly.
Program setting function does not work properly.
• The set time is too short.
The scheduled program time is not saved.
• The scheduled program time is not confirmed.
The scheduled time is saved and executed only after pressing the control knob.
Unable to connect to Wi-Fi
• Check whether the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app is updated.
Update the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app to the latest version.
• Check whether the Wi-Fi signal is strong enough.
Move to an area with a stronger signal.
Unable to connect the air fryer.
• Check whether the network is functioning properly.
Verify Wi-Fi connection or reset Wi-Fi settings to reconnect.
