Installation
Transit fasteners installed for transportation
(!) Before using the machine, remove all transit bolts and packing materials. We recommend keeping all transportation fasteners in case the machine needs to be moved to a new location.
1. Using a wrench, loosen and remove the right-hand bolt on the rear panel.
2. Lay the machine on its rear panel, taking care not to pinch the hoses. To avoid this, place one of the foam corner pieces under the machine.
3. Remove the foam base from beneath the machine.
4. After removing the adhesive tape, take off the two polyethylene bags. Carefully remove first the right bag (1), then the left bag (2) toward the center of the machine.
5. Set the machine upright and remove the remaining two bolts from the rear panel.
6. Remove the three plastic plugs from the holes where the bolts were fitted.
7. Close the open holes with the caps supplied in the instruction packet.
Positioning
Install the machine on a level, solid floor.
Ensure that air circulation under the machine is not impeded by carpets, runners, etc. Make sure the machine does not touch walls or kitchen furniture.
Level the machine carefully by screwing the adjustable feet in or out. Never use cardboard, wood pieces, or other materials to compensate for floor unevenness.
Connecting the Zanussi Jetsystem 900 to the water supply
Connect the inlet hose to a 3/4” threaded water tap.
The other end of the inlet hose, which connects to the machine, can be rotated in any direction. Loosen the nut, rotate the hose, and retighten the nut, checking for leaks. The inlet hose must not be stretched. If it is too short and you do not wish to move the tap, you should purchase a new, longer hose specifically designed for this purpose.
Drain connection
The end of the drain hose can be installed in three ways:
Hang it over the edge of a sink using the plastic guide supplied with the machine. In this case, ensure that the hose cannot slip during draining. You can prevent this by tying the hose to the tap with string or securing it to the wall.
Connect it to a sink drain pipe branch. This branch must be above the sink trap so that the height from the floor is at least 60 cm.
Connect directly to a standpipe at a height of at least 60 cm and not more than 90 cm.
The end of the drain hose must always be ventilated; that is, the inner diameter of the pipe must be wider than the outer diameter of the drain hose.
Do not kink the drain hose. It should run along the floor and rise only near the drain connection.
Description of the Zanussi Jetsystem 900 Washing Machine
Your new washing machine, equipped with Zanussi’s “Jet System,” meets all modern requirements for optimal washing with minimal consumption of water, electricity, and detergent.
Even small loads are washed efficiently, as the water quantity is automatically adjusted according to the load and fabric type.
• The temperature selection knob allows you to choose the most suitable temperature for your laundry.
• Automatic cooling of water to 60°C before draining when using the 95°C program. This softens the sharp temperature drop for fabrics and helps prevent creasing.
• A special wool program with a new system washes your wool garments with exceptional care.
• The out-of-balance control device ensures machine stability during spinning.

When this button is pressed with any wash program (for cottons, synthetics, delicates, and wool), the spin speed is reduced from 900 to 650 rpm.
5 Quick wash
When this button is pressed with programs “A–B” and “G–H,” the washing time is reduced.
This function is especially useful for lightly soiled laundry.
Maximum recommended temperature: 60°C.
6 Intensive rinse button
When this button is pressed with programs from A to C, the machine performs rinsing with a higher water level. Use this function if you are sensitive to detergents or if the mains water is very soft.

To drain the water, press the button again (a gentle spin will be performed), or select the drain program “N.” This function can be used with all programs.
8 Temperature selection
Turn the selector knob until the chosen temperature appears in the window. In the program descriptions you will find recommendations for selecting the correct temperature for different types of laundry. The knob can be turned in either direction. When the knob is set to the symbol , no water heating occurs.
9 Program selection
Turn the selector clockwise and set it to the required program.
Before selecting or changing a running program, switch the machine off by pressing the On/Off button.
