Controls and functions

ZQS 4239 Bluetooth Speaker Controls

1. Bluetooth mode:

a) Bluetooth version: 5.0, with low power consumption and a working range of more than 10 m.

b) ON/OFF: After powering on, the display flashes “BLUE” and the speaker emits a BT mode signal.

c) The “BLUE” symbol flashes in pairing mode. Turn on your phone’s BT, find the device name, click to confirm, and connect. After successful connection, the “BLUE” indicator stays on, and the speaker emits a pairing success signal. The “BLUE” symbol appears during playback, and the “PAUSE” symbol is shown during pause.

2. TF/Micro SD card mode:

a) If no TF card is installed in the speaker, it will start in BT mode. When a TF card is inserted, playback mode is automatically recognized, “PLAY” and playback time are displayed. If a TF card is inserted during startup, the speaker will directly enter TF card mode.

b) Playback time is shown on the display during playback, and the “PAUSE” symbol is shown during pause.

3. USB disk mode:

a) If the ZQS 4239 speaker is not connected to a USB drive, it will start in BT mode. When a USB drive is inserted, the speaker automatically switches to USB playback mode, displaying “PLAY” and playback time. b) During playback, the time is displayed; during pause, the “PAUSE” symbol is displayed.

4. FM mode:

a) Press the “MODE” button to enter FM mode. FM frequency range: 87.5–108.0 MHz.
b) This speaker has a built-in radio antenna; no external antenna is required.
c) Press and hold the “PLAY/PAUSE” button for automatic station search; press again to pause.

5. AUX mode:

a) Connect one end of a 3.5 mm audio cable to the AUX jack of the speaker; the speaker automatically switches to AUX mode. Connect the other 3.5 mm jack to a signal source (phone or computer).
b) In AUX mode, the display shows “LINE.” Press the “PLAY/PAUSE” button to pause.

6. Microphone function:

a) With the speaker powered on, connect the wired microphone to start working.
(Note: Switch on the microphone before use.)

7. Charging:

a) Connect the USB cable to the speaker, then to a 5V charger or computer to charge the built-in lithium battery.
b) The charging indicator lights up red during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator turns off.

8. Low power protection:

When the battery voltage drops below 3.3 V, the speaker emits a low-battery signal.
When the battery voltage drops below 3.1 V, the speaker powers off automatically.

9. Mode switching cycle:

Press the “MODE” button to cycle through USB—TF—BT—FM—AUX.

10. LED flashlight (for models equipped with this function):

Press and hold the “MODE” button to turn the LED flashlight on/off.

11. TWS function (for models equipped with this function):

Using a mobile phone, first connect to one BT speaker. In BT mode, double-press the “Play/Pause” button on another BT speaker to enter TWS pairing.
