About River Channels:

1. Frequency assignment must comply with the State Commission for Radio Frequencies (GKRCH) decision dated 27.04.98 (protocol 6/3), coordinated with the military district headquarters, and within the Moscow Military District with military unit 52686.

300.025 MHz (Channel 41) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations for intra-vessel communication; radio telephone support for repair and operational bases, port and roadstead areas; used by land and mobile radio stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service. Duplex channel (336.025 MHz) is organized for radiotelephone communication of hydro-structures, hydro complexes, and technical route sections.

300.050 MHz (Channel 2) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations to transmit meteorological and route information on internal waterways; used by land and mobile stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service. Weather forecasts are listened to on this channel.

300.075 MHz (Channel 42) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations for communication between small vessels; radio telephone support for repair and operational bases, port and roadstead areas; used by land and mobile radio stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service. Duplex channel (336.075 MHz) serves hydro-structures, hydro complexes, and technical route sections. This is our frequency! Captains of large vessels often chat on this frequency.

300.100 MHz (Channel 3) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations for navigation support and traffic management by river ports, locks, semaphore posts, etc.; used by land and mobile stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service. Frequency used by lock and channel dispatchers.

300.125 MHz (Channel 43) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations for communication between vessels; radio telephone support for repair and operational bases, port and roadstead areas; used by land and mobile radio stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service. Duplex channel (336.125 MHz) is organized for hydro-structures, hydro complexes, and technical route sections. Channel specially allocated for yacht communication.

300.150 MHz (Channel 4) – Used simplex for river fleet radio stations for dispatcher communication servicing the fleet comprehensively; used by land and mobile stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service.

300.200 MHz (Channel 5) – Distress, safety, and call frequency used simplex for radiotelephone communication on internal waterways. This is the primary calling channel used by all river vessels in standby mode for ship-to-ship negotiations on passing and maneuvering.

300.250 MHz (Channel 6) – Used by river fleet ship radio stations for dispatcher communication with land stations of the Russian Ministry of Transport River Fleet Service and mobile stations of all ownership forms; duplex operation paired with 336.250 MHz for shore stations.
