Which memory cards are supported and is formatting required?
The trail camera supports microSD memory cards up to 32 GB (FAT32). A 32 GB memory card is usually included in the package, but please verify this when purchasing, as some sellers may not provide it. Before first use, formatting is not required; the device will detect the card automatically. If recording errors occur, formatting can be performed via the trail camera menu.
Where is the memory card slot located?
The slot is located to the right of the USB port. The USB port is positioned next to the mode switch.
Is it possible to connect an external power source?
Yes, the trail camera operates on 4 or 8 AA batteries (1.5 V). External power supply is possible via a standard 6V 2A connector (4 mm plug). Operation from a solar panel or power adapter with corresponding parameters is also possible. Important: internal batteries are not charged in this case; the device functions only from the connected source.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life depends on conditions: trigger frequency, temperature, battery quality, and settings. On average, 8 batteries last up to six months with moderate use, 4 batteries — about 3–4 months. At low temperatures, battery life decreases.
Which rechargeable batteries can be used?
It is recommended to use AA-type batteries. 18650 batteries are not supported in this model. The use of rechargeable AA batteries is permissible, but only with a nominal value of 1.5 V.
How does the motion sensor (PIR) work and at what distance does it trigger?
The PIR sensor reacts to the movement of warm-blooded objects at distances up to 10 meters. The trigger time is about 0.8 seconds. At night, the detection range may slightly decrease, but infrared illumination ensures recording even in complete darkness. The PIR interval setting defines how soon the device will be ready to trigger again (from 5 seconds to 30 minutes).
Does the trail camera trigger only on animals or on humans as well?
The sensor reacts to both animals and humans. The system filters out small movements (branches, insects) to reduce the number of false triggers.
How does the night infrared illumination work?
The IR illumination turns on automatically in total darkness. To the human eye, it is almost invisible — only a faint red glow is noticeable at very close range. The quality of night photos and videos is lower compared to daytime, but remains sufficient for object identification.
Can photos and videos be viewed directly on the trail camera?
Yes, viewing is available in TEST mode. To do this, press the “E” button. The device can also be connected to a PC via a micro-USB cable, or the memory card can be inserted into a computer or smartphone.
Can photos or videos be transferred to a phone or over the network?
No, this model is fully autonomous. Wi-Fi, SIM cards, and online data transfer are not supported. To transfer photos or videos, use the memory card or USB cable.
How to increase video recording duration?

Is the trail camera sealed and protected against rain and snow?

Does it support loop recording like a dash camera?
No, recording continues until the memory card is full. To prevent overflow, you can adjust recording quality, trigger frequency, or use a higher-capacity card (up to 32 GB).
What is the default password and where is it entered?
The default password is 0000 or pass (depending on version). The password is entered when switching to TEST mode, if a user code was previously set. If no password is set, the device will not request it.
What to do if the trail camera does not record video or does not trigger?
Possible reasons: photo-only mode is selected, settings are incorrect, the timer is enabled, or the PIR interval is incorrectly set. It is recommended to reset the settings and reconfigure the device. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
