Operating Manual for Defender X7 Wireless Controller Gamepad
Charging
Charge the gamepad before use.
Rapid flashing of any indicator means the battery is discharged. The gamepad battery must be charged. Connect the Defender X7 gamepad to the charger using a USB cable.

Power On and Off
Power On press the HOME function button once.
Power Off press and hold the HOME function button for 5 seconds.
If the gamepad is not used for 5 minutes, it will automatically turn off.
NOTE: before connecting to another device, turn off the gamepad.
.Connecting to Android via Bluetooth
Turn off the gamepad.
Press and hold the X button.
While holding the X button, press the HOME button.
All LEDs will start flashing connection standby mode.
Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and select Defender X7 gamepad from the list of available devices.
Connected, gamepad mode indicator 1 flashing.
Press the HOME button to switch to keyboard/mouse mode.
Connected, keyboard/mouse mode indicator 1 flashing.
Connecting to Android Using OTG Cable
Turn off the gamepad.
Connect the USB cable to the OTG adapter (not included).
Connect to the smartphone.
Turn on the gamepad. The third indicator will flash wired connection established.
(!) NOTE: Wired gamepad mode requires Android 10 or higher.
.Connecting to iOS
Turn off the gamepad.
Press and hold the Y button.
While holding the Y button, press and hold the HOME button for 2 seconds.
LED indicators 1 and 2 will start flashing connection standby mode.
Enable Bluetooth on the iPhone and connect to "Wireless Controller".
Connection established indicators 1 and 2 will stay lit continuously.
Use the gamepad in MFI games.
(!) NOTE: The gamepad requires iOS 13.0 or higher.
(!) WARNING! Stable operation of the gamepad with iOS is not guaranteed.
Connecting to PC via Bluetooth
Turn off the gamepad.
Press and hold the L2 button.
While holding the L2 button, press and hold the HOME button for 2 seconds.
LED 2 will start flashing connection standby mode.
Go to the Bluetooth settings on your computer and connect to "Wireless Controller".
Connection established LED 2 will remain lit continuously.
The gamepad is connected to the computer in X-input mode.
.Connecting to PC via Cable
Turn off the gamepad.
Connect the Defender X7 gamepad to an available USB port on your computer or laptop using a cable.
LED 3 will start flashing. The gamepad is connected to the computer in X-input mode.
Press and hold the HOME button to switch to D-input mode.
Connected, D-input mode LED 1 flashing.
Connecting to SONY PlayStation 3
STEP 1: Wired pairing with the console (one-time, during the first connection)
Before the first wireless connection to the PS3 console, an initial wired connection must be performed.
Turn off the gamepad.
Press and hold the B button.
While holding the B button, press and hold the HOME button.
All LEDs will start flashing connection standby mode.
Connect the Defender X7 gamepad to the USB port of the gaming console using a cable.
LED 1 will remain steadily lit. The gamepad is connected to the PlayStation 3 console.
Disconnect the cable from the gamepad and console.
STEP 2: Wireless use of the gamepad (subsequent usage)
Turn on the gamepad.
Wait for the connection (35 seconds).
LEDs 1 and 2 will remain steadily lit. The gamepad is connected to the PlayStation 3 console.

Reconnection
After the initial connection, during subsequent connections the Defender X7 gamepad will automatically reconnect to the last paired device.

Rules and Conditions for Safe and Efficient Use
Precautions:
1. Use the product only for its intended purpose.
2. Do not disassemble. This product contains no user-serviceable parts. For servicing and replacement of defective units, contact the seller or an authorized Defender service center. Upon receipt of the product, ensure its integrity and absence of loose objects inside.
3. Not intended for children under 3 years of age. May contain small parts.
4. Prevent moisture from entering the product or its interior. Do not immerse in liquids.
5. Do not expose the product to vibrations or mechanical stress that could cause damage. In case of mechanical damage, no warranty applies.
6. Do not use the product if visibly damaged. Do not use a knowingly faulty device.
7. Do not operate at temperatures outside the recommended range (see user manual), in conditions of condensation, or in aggressive environments.
8. Do not place in the mouth.
9. Do not use the product for industrial, medical, or manufacturing purposes.
10. If transported at negative temperatures, allow the product to warm up in a room at +1625 °C for 3 hours before operation.
11. Turn off the device every time it is not planned to be used for a long period.
12. Do not use the device while driving if it distracts attention, or in cases where its use is prohibited by law.
