STOPWATCH HANDLING

The TA 299 / 2100 stopwatch withstands accidental water exposure (e.g., rain), but it is not designed for use in damp conditions. Do not press buttons when the device is wet.

TEMPERATURE PROTECTION

Do not expose the stopwatch to direct sunlight or high temperatures, which may darken the display. Low temperatures may cause delays in counting or sluggish digit transitions. In both cases, if exposure is short-term, normal function will resume once conditions are normalized.

MECHANICAL PROTECTION

Protect the stopwatch from drops and impacts with hard surfaces to avoid mechanical damage.
