TORNEO A-944 Stopwatch Instruction Manual

FUNCTIONS:

1. Hours, minutes, seconds, day of the week.
2. Time display mode 12/24 hours.
3. Stopwatch with an accuracy of 1/100 second and interval time control.
4. Alarm clock with hourly chime (“hourly signal” mode) and snooze function, repeating the alarm several minutes after the set time. Maximum stopwatch time: 23 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds.

Modes:

In the initial Clock mode, the display shows time (hours, minutes, seconds) and the day of the week (a horizontal line appears under the letter representing the day of the week, as shown in Figure 1).

IN CLOCK MODE:

1. Press and hold Button 1 to display month and date.
2. Press and hold Button 2 to display the set alarm time.
3. Press Button 3 to enter Stopwatch mode.
4. Press Button 3 again to enter Alarm setting mode.
5. Press Button 3 again to enter Clock setting mode.
6. Press Button 3 again to return to Clock mode.

Day of the week indication:

S - Sunday
M - Monday
T - Tuesday
W - Wednesday
T - Thursday
F - Friday
S - Saturday

Mode settings:

CLOCK MODE:

1. Press Button 3 three times to enter Clock setting mode; seconds will flash. Press Button 1 to reset seconds.

2. Press Button 2 to set minutes; adjust with Button 1.

3. Press Button 2 again to set hours; adjust with Button 1.

(!) NOTE:
During hour setting (step 3), you can select the time format. Repeatedly press Button 1 until the required format is displayed. In 12-hour mode, “A” indicates AM and “P” indicates PM. In 24-hour mode, “H” appears next to the minute indicators.

4. Press Button 2 again to set the date; adjust with Button 1.

5. Press Button 2 again to set the month; adjust with Button 1.

6. Press Button 2 again to set the day of the week; adjust with Button 1.

7. After adjusting, press Button 3 to save settings and return to Clock mode.

ALARM SETTING MODE:

1. Press Button 3 twice to enter Alarm setting mode (hours flash); adjust with Button 1.

2. Press Button 2 to set minutes; adjust with Button 1.

3. After setting, press Button 3 to save and return to Clock mode.

STOPWATCH MODE:

1. Press Button 3 to enter Stopwatch mode.

2. Press Button 1 to start/stop timing.

3. While running, press Button 2 to record a split time. Timing continues in the background.

4. Press Button 2 again to return to elapsed time display.

5. To reset, stop the stopwatch with Button 1, then press Button 2.

ALARM MODE:

1. To activate Alarm mode from Clock mode, press and hold Button 2 for 3 seconds, then press Button 1. Use the same sequence to deactivate.

2. When Alarm mode is active, the symbol “&” appears in the top right corner of the display.

3. When Alarm mode is active, the alarm will sound at the set time.

4. The alarm will stop automatically after 60 seconds. To stop it earlier, press Button 2. The alarm will repeat daily at the set time if enabled.

HOURLY CHIME MODE:

1. To activate, hold Button 2 and press Button 3. Use the same sequence to deactivate.

2. When enabled, a dotted line appears at the top of the display in Alarm mode.

SNOOZE MODE:

During the alarm signal, press Button 1 to activate Snooze mode. The alarm will repeat every 5 minutes until deactivated by pressing Button 2.

• Do not recharge batteries.
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the device before charging.
• Charging must be performed by adults or under adult supervision.
• Do not use batteries of different types simultaneously (alkaline, standard, nickel-cadmium).
• Do not install depleted batteries.
• Do not use old and new batteries together.
• Do not expose batteries or the device to open flame – risk of explosion or leakage.
• Remove batteries when the device is not in use.
• Observe polarity when installing batteries.
• Clean battery contacts and compartment before installation.
• Dispose of used batteries in accordance with environmental requirements.
