Precautions for use
Do not wash the bathroom scales under running water.
Do not dry the scales in a tumble dryer.
Do not wipe the scales with a wet cloth.
Do not attempt to connect the scales to a smartphone. TEFAL BODY UP scales do not support phone pairing functionality.
Do not weigh objects.
Do not step on the scales with wet feet. Do not use the scales in damp areas (shower, bathroom). Protect the scales from exposure to liquids.
Warning: Persons with cardiac pacemakers or other electronic medical devices are prohibited from using this device to avoid the risk of malfunction caused by electrical current.
Do not strike the scales with hard objects.
Always weigh yourself on a firm, level surface. Do not weigh yourself on carpet or rugs.
When standing on the scales, try to remain still.
Do not move the device while operating the buttons. Place your feet parallel to each other so that they touch the contacts.
Do not weigh yourself wearing shoes or socks. Stand on the TEFAL BODY UP electronic scales only with bare feet.
This device is not a medical instrument; it should not be used for determining weight for medical monitoring, diagnosis, or treatment purposes.
Warning: When replacing the batteries, all information stored in memory will be lost.
Battery Installation
For the first use, open the battery compartment cover and remove the protective film. The power supply will make contact and the device will turn on.
Battery Replacement
When "Lo" appears on the display, replace the batteries. To do this, unscrew the retaining screw and open the battery compartment cover. Replace the power supply with a new Lithium 3V CR2032 cell. Reinstall the cover and tighten the retaining screw.

Turning the TEFAL BODY UP scales on and off
The scales turn on automatically when you step on them.
The scales turn off automatically 10 seconds after weighing ends.
Recording personal data
To record personal data into memory cells P1.........P8, use the touch buttons ▲/▼ + SET located below the display of the bathroom scales. The parameter being changed will flash. Use the "up"/"down" buttons to adjust the current parameter, and press "SET" to proceed to the next parameter.
Select a personal memory cell for editing.
Select gender: male/female.
Select your height.
Select your age (full years).
Step on the scales. The scales will display your weight. Remain on the scales. After 5 seconds, the scales will sequentially display your Body Mass Index, body fat percentage, and your weight.
.For daily use
During daily use, the automatic user recognition system is activated. After the first weighing and saving of your personal data, the scales will identify you automatically.
Weighing without user recognition
Personal data not saved.

Memory clearing
Select a user. Hold the "SET" button for 10 seconds. The user's data will be deleted from the scales' memory. "CLr" will appear on the display.
Special messages
"Err" error. Do not step on the scales with shoes or wet feet.
