Precautionary Measures

• The remote control is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it and do not play with it yourself.

• When using the remote control, direct its signal emitter towards the indoor unit of the air conditioner when pressing the buttons. The indoor unit will confirm receipt of the signal with a short beep.

• Signals can be received at a distance of up to 8 meters in a straight line from the indoor unit within a 45° angle to the left and right. There must be no obstacles between the remote control and the unit that could block the signal.

• The remote control must be kept at a distance of at least 1 meter from television and radio equipment.

• Do not drop the remote control or expose it to strong impacts. Protect the remote control from direct sunlight, heat sources, water ingress, and high humidity.

• Do not use sharp objects to press the buttons in order to avoid damaging the remote control. Do not clean the remote control with gasoline, solvents, chemically treated wipes, or similar materials.

• If the remote control is not functioning properly, remove the batteries, wait 30 seconds, and then reinsert them. If the functionality is not restored, replace the batteries.

(!) Remove the batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for an extended period.

(!) Attention! The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the design, components, or manufacturing technology of the remote control without prior notice to the purchaser.

Description of Buttons on the GZ-1002B-E3 Remote Control

The displayed image corresponds to the standard remote control, showing all functional buttons. These may slightly differ from the functional buttons on your remote control depending on the model.

1. Operating Display

Displays the current mode and parameters.

2. Operating Mode

[ AUTO ] - automatic mode
[ COOL ] - cooling mode
[ DRY ] - dehumidification mode
[ FAN ] - ventilation mode
[ HEAT ] - heating mode

3. Temperature Adjustment

A single press changes the temperature by 1°C. Temperature adjustment range: 16-31°C.

4. ON/OFF

Turns the unit on or off.

5. FAN SPEED

Selects the fan speed of the indoor unit.

Repeated pressing changes the fan speed in the following sequence:
Low - Medium - High - Automatic.

6. SLEEP

Used during sleep time. Pressing the button toggles this function on or off. Operates only in Cooling, Dehumidification, and Heating modes.

7. SWING

Mode of changing airflow direction. Pressing the button toggles this function on or off.

8. MANUAL

Manual adjustment of the airflow direction.

Repeated presses of the button change the louver angle to a specific position:

9. ON TIMER

This button activates the Timer ON function.

10. OFF TIMER

This button activates the Timer OFF function.

11. SET TIMER

Stores the specified timer settings.

12. CANCEL TIMER

Clears the specified timer settings.

13. REMOTE CONTROL RESET

Reset your remote control by short-circuiting these two points with a metallic object if it does not respond to button presses.

(!) NOTES:
- The HEAT mode is available only on systems equipped with this function.
- The effective operating distance of the remote control is 6 meters in a straight line under interference-free conditions.
- Remove the batteries if the remote control will not be used for a long time.
- In the illustration, all functions are displayed simultaneously on the screen for demonstration purposes only. Some models may not display certain functions shown on the screen.
- Do not expose batteries to mechanical or thermal impacts as this may cause remote control malfunction.

Operating Modes

Automatic timer ON/OFF function (preset time)

A. To set the automatic turn-off of the air conditioner using the timer, press the OFF button on the wireless remote control. The icon → ◯ will begin to blink on the display.

To set the automatic turn-on of the air conditioner, press the ON button on the remote control. The icon → I will begin to blink on the display.

B. Each press of the ON or OFF button increases the turn-on or turn-off time by 1 hour (maximum 12 hours). This information is shown on the display.

C. To confirm the set turn-on/off time, press the SET button. The icon on the remote control will stop blinking.

Canceling the preset automatic timer ON/OFF

To cancel a previously set automatic timer ON/OFF time, press the CANCEL button on the remote control. The icon → ◯ or → I will disappear from the remote control display.

(!) NOTES
- If there was a power outage, the automatic ON/OFF timer settings will be lost and must be set again.
- After confirming the automatic ON/OFF timer setting with the SET button, changes can only be made by canceling with the CANCEL button and setting again.
- If the SET button is pressed again after confirming the timer setting, the timer will restart counting from zero.

Operating Modes — Parameter Adjustment

AUTO Mode

In this mode, the air conditioner automatically maintains a comfortable room temperature. After activation, the air conditioner will operate in one of the following modes depending on the room temperature (see table):

COOLING Mode

Press the MANUAL SWING or SWING button to adjust the vertical airflow angle or activate swing mode.

Airflow speed is adjusted by pressing the FAN SPEED button on the remote control.

Temperature adjustment is performed using the temperature control buttons on the remote control within the range of 16 to 31°C.

DRY Mode (Dehumidification)

In this mode, the air conditioner automatically sets the room temperature. The temperature value is not displayed. Temperature and airflow speed adjustment are not possible in this mode.

FAN Mode

In this mode, the outdoor unit does not operate.

Modes and airflow direction can be changed using the MANUAL SWING and SWING buttons.

Fan speed can be adjusted using the FAN SPEED button.

HEAT Mode

Airflow direction can be changed using the MANUAL SWING and SWING buttons.

Airflow speed is changed with the FAN SPEED button.

Temperature adjustment is performed using the temperature control buttons on the remote control within the range of 16 to 31°C.

SLEEP Mode

SLEEP Mode operation during cooling and drying:

1. The fan operates at the lowest speed.

2. After 1 hour, the maintained temperature increases by 1 degree. After another hour, the temperature rises by another 1 degree; the total increase is 2 degrees, which is then maintained.

SLEEP Mode operation during heating:

1. The fan operates at the lowest speed.

2. After 1 hour, the maintained temperature decreases by 2 degrees. After another hour, the temperature decreases by another 2 degrees; the total decrease is 4 degrees, which is then maintained.

Battery Installation / Replacement

• Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction indicated by the arrow.

• Insert new batteries ensuring the (+) and (-) polarities are correctly aligned.

• Close the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place.

(!) NOTE
• Replace batteries if the remote control’s LCD display does not light or if the remote control cannot be used to change air conditioner settings.
• Use new LRO 3 AAA 1.5 V batteries (standard AAA).
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
• Remove batteries if the remote control will not be used for more than one month.

Indoor Unit Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)

1. SLEEP mode indicator
2. Automatic timer ON/OFF mode indicator
3. FAN mode indicator
4.1. In normal mode, displays room temperature
4.2. During temperature adjustment in COOLING or HEATING mode, the set temperature blinks. After 10 seconds, the display returns to room temperature indication.
4.3. During timer setting, shows the set time. After 10 seconds, returns to room temperature indication.
4.5. If a system malfunction occurs, the LCD displays an error code.

8. Remote control signal receiver

Error Codes (Displayed on LCD)

NOTE

If the system is additionally equipped with a wall-mounted (wired) control unit, such unit may receive signals from the wireless remote control, and the following errors may be displayed on the control unit’s screen:

EMERGENCY MODE

If the control unit indicates a malfunction, the indoor unit of the air conditioner has an emergency shutdown button. Pressing this button switches the air conditioner in the following sequence:

AUTO mode → COOLING mode → STOP

(!) NOTE
If the control unit is switched on, the emergency shutdown button does not function. To operate this button, the control unit must be removed, then the air conditioner should be switched off and on again.
