Precautions
• The remote control is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it, and do not use it for play yourself.
• When using the remote control, point its signal transmitter towards the indoor unit when pressing buttons. The indoor unit will confirm receipt of the signal with a short beep.
• Signals can be received at a distance of up to 8 meters in a straight line from the indoor unit, within an angle of 45° to the left or right. There should be no obstacles between the remote control and the unit.
• The remote control should be kept at least 1 meter away from televisions and radios.
• Do not drop the remote control or subject it to strong impacts. Protect the remote from direct sunlight, heat sources, water, and high humidity.
• Do not use sharp objects to press the buttons to avoid damaging the remote. Do not clean the remote with gasoline, solvents, chemically treated wipes, etc.
• If the remote control does not work properly, remove the batteries, wait 30 seconds, and then reinsert them. If operation is not restored, replace the batteries.
(!) Remove the batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for an extended period.

Description of the Grundig Air Conditioner Remote Control Buttons
The image below refers to the standard remote control, showing all functional buttons. They may differ slightly from those on your remote control (depending on the model).
1. ON/OFF – Power on/off
2. GENTLE WIND – Enables/disables “Gentle Wind” soft airflow
3. MODE – Selects operating mode [AUTO]; [COOL]; [DRY]; [FAN]; [HEAT]
4. (UP) – Increases set temperature, timer on/off time, menu navigation
5. (DOWN) – Decreases set temperature, timer on/off time, menu navigation
6. Vertical swing – Enables/disables up/down louver swing
7. Horizontal swing – Enables/disables left/right louver swing
8. FAN – Selects indoor unit fan speed
9. iFEEL – Adjusts air intake temperature based on sensor inside the remote
10. iSET – Restores saved (previously set) parameters
11. TURBO – Starts rapid heating/cooling mode. Operates for a short time
12. GENERATOR MODE – Enables/disables generator mode with limited current consumption
13. TIMER/SLEEP – Enables/disables timer and “SLEEP” mode
14. ECO/DISPLAY – Enables/disables ECO mode and/or indoor unit display
15. HEALTH/CLEAN – Enables/disables air ionizer and/or self-cleaning function

Battery Installation / Replacement
• Remove the battery cover by sliding it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
• Insert new batteries, ensuring the (+) and (-) are oriented correctly.
• Close the battery cover by sliding it back into place.

NOTE
• Replace the batteries if the LCD display does not light up or when the remote cannot be used to change the air conditioner settings.
• Use new LRO 3 AAA 1.5 V batteries (micro/AAA type).
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries according to the regulations of your country.
• If the remote will not be used for more than one month, remove the batteries.
Remote Control Operation
• Point the remote at the indoor unit.
• Ensure there are no curtains, doors, or other obstacles between the remote and the indoor unit receiver.
• Do not leave the remote under direct sunlight.
• Keep the remote at least 1 meter away from televisions and other electronic devices.
AIR CONDITIONER OPERATION
Turning the Air Conditioner ON/OFF
Button “ON/OFF”
Press this button to turn on the air conditioner. Press it again to turn off the air conditioner.
Selecting the Operating Mode
Button “MODE”
Pressing the “MODE” button allows you to select one of the operating modes:

“COOLING” Mode
To select cooling mode, press the “MODE” button until the icon appears on the display.
“HEATING” Mode
To select heating mode, press the “MODE” button until the icon appears on the display.
“DRY” Mode
To select dry mode, press the “MODE” button until the icon appears on the display.
In dry mode, the compressor operates, the fan runs at minimum speed, and it is not possible to select temperature or fan speed.
“FAN” Mode
To select fan mode, press the “MODE” button until the icon appears on the display.
In fan mode, only the indoor unit fan operates, circulating air throughout the room. Cooling, heating, or dehumidification does not occur.
Automatic Mode
To select automatic mode, press the “MODE” button until the icon appears on the display.
In automatic mode, the air conditioner selects the operating mode automatically based on the set temperature and the room temperature.
.Fan Speed Selection
Button “FAN”
Pressing the “FAN” button allows you to select fan speed in the following order:
Airflow Direction
Buttons for enabling/disabling vertical 
and horizontal 
louver movement
Pressing moves the horizontal louvers up and down. Pressing the button again stops the louvers in their current position.
Pressing moves the vertical louvers left and right. Pressing the button again stops the louvers in their current position.
GENTLE WIND Function
Symbol [23] – Laminar airflow
Pressing the “GENTLE WIND” button enables or disables this function.
When enabled, the perforated vertical louvers turn perpendicular, dispersing the airflow and creating softer air circulation.
This function works only in “COOLING” mode.
.iFEEL Function
Symbol [22] – Accurate temperature control
Pressing the “iFEEL” button enables or disables this function.
When enabled, the temperature measured by the sensor inside the remote is sent to the air conditioner, which adjusts its readings from the intake sensor accordingly.
This function automatically turns off after 2 hours.
TURBO Function
Symbol [10] – Maximum power mode
Pressing the “TURBO” button enables or disables this function.
In “TURBO” mode, the air conditioner switches to maximum performance: the temperature setpoint is minimized (cooling) or maximized (heating), and both compressor and fan operate at maximum speed.
The function automatically turns off after 15 minutes.
GENERATOR MODE Function (optional)
Symbol [13] – Limited power mode when operating the air conditioner from a generator
Pressing the “GEN” button enables, disables, and cycles through power limitation levels in the following order:
OFF → L1 → L2 → L3
Operating current (as % of nominal current):
Mode L1 – 30%
Mode L2 – 50%
Mode L3 – 70%
(!) Note: This function is optional and may not be available on your air conditioner.
.SLEEP Function
Symbol [19] – Automatic temperature adjustment. Sleep mode
Press and hold the “SLEEP” button for 2 seconds to enable or disable this function.
In “SLEEP” mode, the air conditioner automatically raises (cooling) or lowers (heating) the setpoint temperature by 2°C within 2 hours, changing the setpoint by 1°C each hour.
The function automatically turns off after 10 hours.
ECO Function
Symbol [14] – Energy saving mode
Pressing the “ECO” button enables or disables this function.
In “ECO” mode, the air conditioner adjusts the setpoint temperature to operate in energy-saving mode, reducing cooling or heating intensity.
This function works in “COOLING” and “HEATING” modes.
LED Display Illumination
Symbol [17] – Turning the indoor unit’s LED display on/off
Press and hold the “DISPLAY” button for more than 2 seconds to turn off the LED display illumination. Repeat the operation to turn it back on.
.HEALTH Function (optional)
Symbol [12] – Air ionizer / plasma filter
Pressing the “HEALTH” button enables or disables this function.
(!) Note: This function is optional and may not be available on your air conditioner.
SELF-CLEAN Mode
Symbol [16] – High-temperature self-cleaning of the indoor unit heat exchanger
Turn off the air conditioner, then press the “CLEAN” button to start the self-cleaning and sterilization of the indoor unit.
This function helps keep the indoor unit heat exchanger clean, preventing dust buildup, bacteria, and mold growth.
The self-cleaning process lasts 30 minutes. At the end of the procedure, two short beeps will sound.
During the process, clicks, crackles, and other sounds may occur due to thermal expansion of plastic components.
The function should be activated within the following temperature range:
Indoor temperature: +17°C to +30°C
Outdoor temperature: +5°C to +30°C
(!) It is recommended to use the self-cleaning function at least once every 3 months.
.TIMER Function
Symbol [20] – Timer for switching the air conditioner on or off at set times
Setting the OFF Timer:
1. The air conditioner must be switched on and operating.
2. Press the “TIMER” button – the timer icon and digits will appear on the display.
3. Use and buttons to set the time after which the air conditioner will switch off.
4. Press the “TIMER” button to confirm the set time and exit timer setup mode.
Setting the ON Timer:
1. The air conditioner must be switched off.
2. Press the “TIMER” button – the timer icon and digits will appear on the display.
3. Use and buttons to set the time after which the air conditioner will switch on.
4. Press the “TIMER” button to confirm the set time and exit timer setup mode.
5. After setting the ON timer, you can configure the operating mode, fan speed, and temperature setpoint at which the air conditioner will start.

Note:
• To cancel the timer settings, press the “TIMER” button again.
• If the air conditioner is switched on using the remote or disconnected from the power supply, the timer settings will be reset.
CHILL WIND / HOT WIND Function (optional)
Symbols [21] / [18] – Cold wind / hot wind
Press and hold the “TIMER” + “ECO” buttons for 2 seconds in “COOLING” mode to enable or disable “CHILL WIND”.
Press and hold the “TIMER” + “ECO” buttons for 2 seconds in “HEATING” mode to enable or disable “HOT WIND”.
(!) Note: This function is optional and may not be available on your air conditioner.
8°C HEATING Function
Symbol [15] – Standby heating
Press and hold the “ECO” + “HEALTH” buttons for 2 seconds to enable or disable this function.
To enable or disable this function, the air conditioner must be off (in standby mode).
When activated, the air conditioner will automatically switch to “HEATING” mode if the room temperature drops below +8°C and will continue to operate until the temperature reaches +18°C, after which it will turn off (return to standby).
